Easter Tuesday
Die III infra octavam Paschae
Missa 'Aqua Sapientiae'
1st Class
White
[Gloria & Creed; Preface of Easter; Commemoration: Major Litanies]

NB April 26, 2011: Those bound to the Divine Office are bound today to recite the Litany of the Saints with its prayers. If a rogation procession is held before Mass, violet vestments are worn. The celebrant and ministers change into white vestments for the Mass, which is that of Easter Tuesday, with a commemoration of the Major Litanies. The Prayers at the Foot of the Altar are omitted, and Mass begins with the incensation and Introit.

Postcommunion

R. Amen.

Grant, we beseech thee, Almighty God, that the grace of paschal sacrament which we have received may ever abide in our souls.
Through Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end.

R. Amen.
