Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception

400 Michigan Ave NE, Washington, District of Columbia  20017

Lent is upon us - and there is no better time to fortify yourself with Ignatian spiritual focus as we march toward Calvary and the Resurrection. Come join Juventutem DC for a Lenten Recollection on "Sin and God's mercy in light of St. Ignatius' Exercises" with Rev. Carlos Hamel, Fraternitas Sancti Joseph Custodis (FSJC), Pastor of La Nativité de la Vierge Parish, in the Diocese of Fréjus-Toulon, France.

The Recollection will accompany an Extraordinary Form Low Mass for the Tuesday after the Third Sunday in Lent. The Mass and Recollection will be held in the Lourdes Chapel +Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (Crypt Level).

Fr. Hamel has conducted Ignatian retreats for Juventutem chapters, including one most recently for Juventutem Trenton last month. Juventutem DC is proud to be the latest beneficary of Fr. Hamel's spiritual guidance - and we hope you can join us to partake as well.
