All Saints Sisters of the Poor Attended a High Mass Yesterday at St. Alphonsus Church in Baltimore
You may recall that I posted that a group of Sisters from the All Saints Sisters of the Poor were to attend a High Mass yesterday at St. Alphonsus Church in Baltimore. I got this report and wanted to share it with you. I would have attended but had a family commitment elsewhere. It sounds as if I was a wonderful day! Thanks to J.!
All,Too bad about the dearth of photos...
Today well over 200 people attended the High Mass (Extraordinary Form) at St. Alphonsus Church, and eight All Saints Sisters of the Poor came, with the front two pews on Our Lady’s side reserved for the Sisters. The polyphonic choir sang hymns such as Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus and Handel’s Lord I Trust Thee as well as favorites such as Soul of My Savior and O Bone Jesu. Many faithful stayed for the light brunch for the Sisters in the church/rectory courtyard. It was a wonderful occasion.
For many of our children, it was the first time they met Catholic sisters in full, traditional habits. Many of those in attendance seemed anxious to help the Sisters any way they can. We are all anxious for several designated Archdiocesan priests to be trained in the Anglican Use of the Roman Rite, so the Sisters can begin worshipping in that Rite (for now, they have a daily Novus Ordo Mass). Many would like to attend daily Mass in the Sisters’ chapel in Catonsville, MD.
Please pray that their transition to the Anglican Usage may be swift. Please also pray that the Sisters receive many vocations. Some of us are working with them to advertise in orthodox Catholic publications.
Thought I’d have pictures, but my wife and I were too busy singing, helping at the reception, and introducing the Sisters to many of the faithful. It was a truly awesome day.

To my knowledge, this is the ONLY site available which provides the daily Latin/English Propers for each day. I discovered it linked to an online newsletter posted by the F.S.S.P. in Oklahoma.
The author of this blog, Deo volente, totally disavows the "sedevantist sentiments" of the views of this website which posts these Propers of the TLM. He provides these Propers solely as a service to those in need of them online and uses other sources when possible.
