Photos of TLM Christmas Mass - Saint James the Greater, WV - 2008

This was sent to me by email. The Mass at St. Peter's is not shown. The celebrants were members of the Canons of the New Jerusalem who visited over the Christmas season.

The pictures of the church were taken on the Christmas Day Mass at St. James Catholic Church in Charles Town, WV. This parish was built about 3 or 4 yrs a go. It doesn't have a high altar, but with the tabernacle in the back and facing east, it was not hard for the Canons Regular of the New Jerusalem to set the altar...

We also had a Midnight Christmas Mass at the Historic Chapel of St. Peter in Harpers Ferry, and I deeply regreted not taking my camera with me! (That old church has a beautiful high altar!)

What a beautiful Church!
NB: The TLM Mass there is now only occasional pending a priest who can celebrate the TLM routinely.
