Liturgical Note: Sunday Traditional Masses at the Shrine of St. Alphonsus Liguori, Baltimore, Maryland - March 15th, 2020

Update: March 14th, 7:32 PM
Sunday Masses in the Archdiocese of Baltimore have been cancelled

I have been asked to distribute this message by S.K.

As some neighboring Dioceses have cancelled Sunday Masses in response to the coronavirus pandemic, the National Shrine of Saint Alphonsus Liguori in Baltimore, Maryland entrusted to the FSSP, is expecting perhaps more visitors than usual at its three Traditional Latin Masses this Sunday.  However, Maryland is under an Emergency Mandate from Governor Larry Hogan (with the cooperation of His Excellency Archbishop William Lori) to limit the number of people in a religious gathering to 250 persons at a time.  As such, ushers will be counting people as they come into the Church.  The 11:30 am High Mass is expected to be filled to capacity.  The 9:30 am Mass can probably accommodate some visitors, but there will most likely be more spots available for those who attend the 7:30 am Mass.  Please note that at both the 7:30 am & 9:30 am Masses, only the altar boys make responses.  Thank you for understanding this situation.
