• EDITOR'S NOTE:  In the Traditional Calendar of 1962 (FSSP Ordo), December 8th celebrates The Immaculate Conception with a Commemoration of the 2nd Sunday of Advent.  In the Novus Ordo's revised calendar,  Sunday is the 2nd Sunday of Advent as these Sundays of Advent cannot be transferred.   As such, The Immaculate Conception is a Holy Day of obligation transferred to the following day,  Monday,  December 9th.   As the Vatican has declared that Monday is a Holy Day of obligation, the FSSP in the Archdiocese of  Baltimore will celebrate Monday's Feria of Advent  as a Holy Day of obligation.  See Fr.
