All Saints Sisters of the Poor Attended a High Mass Yesterday at St. Alphonsus Church in Baltimore

You may recall that I posted that a group of Sisters from the All Saints Sisters of the Poor were to attend a High Mass yesterday at St. Alphonsus Church in Baltimore. I got this report and wanted to share it with you. I would have attended but had a family commitment elsewhere. It sounds as if I was a wonderful day! Thanks to J.! 10 Episcopal nuns in Archdiocese of Baltimore to join Catholic Church

This story was first posted by Shawn Tribe of New Liturgical Movement and I posted it in June, 2009 . The Catholic Review has now released the full details (this story was also linked by Fr. John Zuhlsdorf of WDTPRS ). George P. Matysek, Jr. details the faith journey of ten Society of All Saints Sisters of the Poor who are entering the Church on September 3rd in a Mass celebrated by His Excellency Archbishop Edwin O'Brien. In a follow-up story, Matysek details the fact that a "Diocesan Institute" (the first in Baltimore) will be formed . Please read both stories and don't miss the slide show of the good Sisters. Several priests are learning to say the Anglican-Use liturgy.
