Catholic Review Online: Bishops’s statement urges support for pregnant women, rejects harassment of pro-life centers

The Catholic Review has posted an article calling for support for women facing crisis pregnancies . The post describes a document written by the Bishops of the Maryland Catholic Conference called "Set Out in Haste." The Catholic Review story states in part: “Set Out in Haste: Serving Women, Serving Life” was signed by Baltimore Archbishop Edwin F. O’Brien, Washington Archbishop Donald W. Catholic Diocese of Wilmington - Litany of Saint Thomas More

In the United States, the Church today celebrates the optional feasts of St. Paulinus, St. Thomas More and St. John Fisher. Several years ago, Bishop Saltarelli of Wilmington asked that the Litany of St. Thomas More be used in the Diocese. Bishop Malooly has moved the Prayer to the Diocesan Website. I pray this Litany each evening and commend it to you as well. Saint Thomas More (the subject of the movie, "A Man for All Seasons") was a Bishop, Martyr and is the Patron Saint of Statesman, Politicians and Lawyers. The litany is found here , but I have taken the liberty to post it below:   Litany of St. Thomas More, Martyr and Patron Saint of Statesmen, Politicians and Lawyers V. Lord, have mercy R.
