Damian Thompson on his blog, "Holy Smoke," carried by the Telegraph.co.UK, has posted some of the new English changes in the Ordinary that have received the recognitio of the Vatican . He admits that the entire text is already on the USCCB website, but discloses some of the changes to his British readers. I particularly like his summation: Cheer up, guys: if you think the liturgical conservatives have spoiled the ordinary form of the Mass, don't forget that you now have the option of the extraordinary form, where problems of translation don't arise.
