Update and Note : The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is not celebrated anywhere in the world on Good Friday. Some Parishes will have the traditional "Passion service" held at 3:00 PM (which in the Extraordinary Form is called the "Good Friday Office") and/or Stations of the Cross. When a Passion Service is held, the altar is totally bare. There is Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion--consecrated on Holy Thursday and held in repose--is distributed to the faithful. There is also no Mass on Holy Saturday until the Easter Vigil Mass in the evening. Please also note that I will not be posting on Good Friday ! We adore Thee O Christ and we bless Thee!
