Visitors ask...Daily Latin Mass Readings?

This is one I have tackled before under various "tags" so the way the search is phrased is critical. First, if one wishes to see the Latin and English Propers together side by side, the only alternative is a good daily Missal. They are back in vogue and the Baronius, Angelus, Saint Joseph and several others are all excellent. I personally prefer the Baronius as I have stated. One option for Sundays is this site maintained by a solitary individual who has done a great job . Note that the Propers are only good for weekends and major feasts. Also, some of the wording may not conform totally to the Summorum Pontificum editions that are now being released. I have found that to be rare except around the Triduum. If you wish to see the English translation of the Latin, this website can't be beat . It is well done, it has RSS and Atom feeds and the Deacon even provides a widget if you want to install it. I subscribe to this feed and use it often here. If one wants

Mass - Ash Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

Okay, I'm getting hundreds of requests. If you are in the Archdiocese of Baltimore , look here. The instructions are fairly straightforward. If you are in the Archdiocese of Washington, check the Blogroll and Favorites menu on the right menu bar. The AD of DC has a website and it too lists ALL parishes . If you are from outside the region, look at the header which contains the name "Traditional Latin Mass in Maryland." There is text which reads MassTimes.org . Click that hyperlink and simply state where you are. It will locate parishes everywhere in the US, Canada and even internationally. You will simply have to state that you are seeking a Holy Day and look at the websites which come back to you. That's the best I can do, friends! Good hunting!
