NLM: What "Mass Setting" Should Your Parish Use?

Jeffrey Tucker of the New Liturgical Movement has a fabulous post on Latin Chant Mass settings using the Kyriale . He then links to a site entitled the Saint Antoine Daniel Latin Kyriale Gregorian Chant website. Don't miss Mr. Tucker's explanation for why this site is so important and how your music director can use it for Mass settings during Advent and beyond. Fr. Zuhlsdorf also has some great comments on the Kyriale and on the Saint Antoine Daniel website .

Christmas Week Schedule 2009 - Cathedrals and National Shrines in DC and Baltimore

This blog is devoted to the Traditional Latin Mass (or Tridentine). A great many visitors, however, search this blog for ANY Masses at the Cathedrals and National Shrines especially with the Advent and Christmas season approaching. Thankfully, these Churches are now using automated calendars. The links below are to the Calendars of the various Cathedrals or Shrines . The National Shrine of the Assumption in Baltimore, and the Cathedral of Saint Matthew in DC do offer the Latin Mass in the Regular Form (Novus Ordo) . Note that the home pages of all of these are located in the Blogroll and Favorite Websites in the lower right menu bar here --->> Christmas Week Schedule 2009 - Cathedrals and Shrines in DC and Baltimore Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, Baltimore, MD (Scroll ahead to December) National Shrine of the Basilica of the Assumption, Baltimore, MD National Shrine of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Washington, DC Saint Matthew's Cathedral, Washington, DC
