The Boys Camp with the Canons Regular of New Jerusalem will be on the First Week of August (3-8) in Charles Town, WV.

It will run from 8 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday, and 8 am to noon on Saturday. Dom Daniel will publish more detailed information soon.

There is still room for a few more boys, so please send an e-mail to the coordinator of this event at phalanx0411 "at" yahoo "dot" com if you are interested, or pass this information along.

From what I have heard, the TLM at Saint James has been suspended temporarily as there is no priest present who can offer it regularly. Those who wish to attend the TLM are traveling to St. John the Baptist in Front Royal, VA where the Mass is offered each Sunday as shown in the menu to the right.

The Canons Regular of the New Jerusalem are interested in returning this summer. As you can see in the email below, the Canons are intending to hold 2 TLM camps which will train young men in how to serve the Traditional Mass. If you are interested, please contact the Parish by phone.

Dear friends,

Dom Daniel mentioned in his letter that the Canons Regular of New Jerusalem have the intention to come to St. James in August for the purpose of conducting a week long boy's camp twice in the first two weeks of August (August 3-8th) or (August 10 to 15th).

The camp would run from 8:00 AM to about 3:00 PM each day, but on Saturday would end at noon. The camp would consist of Mass, learning how to serve the Extraordinary Form, religious instruction, sports, crafts, games, and a day at the river. Breakfast would be provided after Mass and each boy should bring a lunch. Ages would be from 7 to 13 and the cost would be nominal.
