ANNOUNCEMENT

Archbishop William E. Lori, the Archbishop of Baltimore announces that Rev. Joel E. Kiefer, FSSP will begin as Pastor of The National Shrine of St. Alphonsus Liguori effective August 1, 2017.

Archbishop Lori also announces that at a later date there will be a Priest assigned for the continual serving of the Lithuanian and the English Masses here at The National Shrine of St. Alphonsus Liguori.  He assures that the new Pastor-Elect will work with the Priest whom the Archbishop will appoint for this task.

It is also the Archbishop’s wish that Rev. William F. Spacek is to continue as Temporary Administrator of The National Shrine of St. Alphonsus Liguori until August 1, 2017.
