Faith and Family Live! The daily blog of Catholic living!

The Curt Jester (Jeff Miller) has informed us all that Faith and Family now has a live blog . I have been giving their magazine to sundry nieces and nephews who are raising families and they simply love it. There is now a live blog. I just glanced at it and the content is great. I've added the link to my Blogroll and Website Favorites in the right menu! Homeschoolers, moms and dads, go to it!

MI Youth and Young Adults: Events

The Militia of the Immaculata (M.I.) has initiated a MI Youth and Young Adults website . In a previous post I mentioned that this is a Franciscan charism begun by St. Maximilian Kolbe that offers total consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Marytown is located in Libertyville, Illinois. The website has a blog. The Youth recently visited Mount Saint Mary's and the National Shrine Grotto . Here is a listing of the Events coming up for this year . It is a very busy schedule! If you or your children are interested in learning more, here is a link to introduce you to the young adult team of "Max" evangelizers .

Scriptorium: What's Latin for blog? a re-proposal

Indignus of the blog, Scriptorium , asks a question that keeps many of us up at nights worrying. To wit: what is Latin for "blog?" As for blog (blog, blogis), I think blogis would have a better plural genitive, blogium , while blog ( blog, blogis ) would have blogum , which brings us back to bubblegum . Hence blogis , which would decline like this: Nom. blogis bloges Gen. blogis blogium Dat. blogi blogibus Accus. blogem bloges Voc. blogis bloges Abl. bloge blogibus As to the verb ‘to blog’, well, what if we apply the same principles and-instead o

DC Catholic Now Added to the Blogroll

I am happy to learn that I have a compatriot in D.C. who has added me to the blog's blogroll. I am most happy to return the favor. DC Catholic is the blog to visit for information on the Nation's Capital, the Archdiocese of Washington and especially for the visit of His Holiness this Spring. Check it out! Hat tip, DC!
