CNA: Coalition urges Catholic colleges to avoid hosting pro-abortion politicians
CNA carries a story on a statement released by a coalition of organizations asking Catholic Colleges to boycott asking any politician with pro-abortion views from speaking on their campuses . The statement calling for a boycott of politicians in conflict with the Church was organized by the Cardinal Newman Society , a group dedicated to the renewal and strengthening of Catholic identity in higher education. Signatories included the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights , the Fellowship of Catholic University Students , Catholics United for the Faith , the Catholic Medical Association and the Society of Catholic Social Scientists . Cardinal Newman Society President Patrick J.
