Regional Christmas Mass News: Christmas High Mass at St. Peter's in Harpers Ferry, WV

IMPORTANT UPDATE AT BOTTOM! PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS! This is from my contact at St. James the Greater in WV: Christmas Eve Midnight Mass Announcement Fr. Owens would like to announce (and St James Parish is delighted to host) a Christmas Eve Midnight Mass in the extraordinary form. This traditional Latin High Mass will be offered at St. Peter’s Church in Harpers Ferry, WV, at midnight on Christmas Eve night, Wednesday, 24 December, 2008 . The Mass will be said by Msgr. Richard Hughes, a retired priest from the Archdiocese of Washington, DC, who is now living in Maryland. Schola Carmeli will sing the proper of the Mass and offer traditional carols preceding the Mass starting at 11:30pm. All are invited to attend! PARKING UPDATE: Dear friends, I received the following information relating to parking options in Harpers Ferry for the Midnight High Mass: " St. James parish has permission from the Park Service to use the St. Peter's Church parking lot and the Harpers
