Visitors ask...Latin Mass Propers Daily...Where Online?

This question is one I've had in various forms and tried to answer. The answer is, the best way to get daily Mass Propers for the TLM is in a hand missal sold by any one of a number of companies. The entire Missal is simply not online...yet. This site offers the Propers of the Mass in PDF format . MusicaSacra offers the entire Missale Romanum 1962 for download here . The Tridentine Latin Rite Missal Project has many of the major feasts , but it is a slow grind and not in total conformance with Summorum Pontificum as yet. Note that all three of these links can be found in the Right Menu Bar under Favorite Blogs and Websites . I think for many, the perfect solution is this site . The Latin Mass Propers are in English and posted by a Deacon daily. I have cited them often and it too is in the Right Menu . Hope this is helpful!

First Things, January 2009 Edition: "The Pro-Life Movement as the Politics of the 1960s"

Father Richard John Neuhaus writes a marvelous essay on the Pro-Life Movement in the January 2009 edition of First Things . He bases his analysis on a "remarkable...new book from Princeton University Press, The Democratic Virtues of the Christian Right , by Jon Shields, a political scientist at Claremont McKenna College." Fascinating reading!

Mass of the Epiphany, Tuesday January 6th, Our Lady's Church Medley's Neck, MD

I have some local news to report thanks to a kind friend. The Tridentine Mass will be celebrated this Tuesday, January 6th at 7:00 pm at Our Lady’s Church at Medley’s Neck , 41410 Medley's Neck Rd, Leonardtown, MD. For those who have not noticed, Our Lady's Church has been included in the Menu of Masses in the Right Menu Bar with a hyperlink to the website. Also, Saint Francis de Sales in Benedict, MD has a new website . That link has also been added to the Menu of Masses in the Right Menu and all links in my prior posts on TLMs have been corrected. Thanks for the information!

Visitors ask...FSSP (Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter)...

Visitors often search for issues relating to the FSSP. First, let me indicate that I have several links in the Blogroll and Favorite Websites section of the right menu including: The FSSP North America Home Page Apostolates (Parishes) of the FSSP in the US and Canada The Liturgical Calendar for the Extraordinary Form for 2009 Some are seeking a directory of Retreats--either at Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary or other locations. My personal recommendation for rock solid information is to receive the FSSP newsletter which can be obtained by filling out this form . Let me also call your attention to a nice assortment of items relating to the Latin Mass, Bibles, Religious Books, etc. the proceeds of which assist the Seminary. Those and other items can be found here . I note that the 2009 Ordo has just arrived.
