Special News: TLM - Wednesday, February 16th, 2011 - Lourdes Chapel, Basilica of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, DC

I received this email from a "friend" and have edited it slightly. If you wish or can serve Mass on a continual basis or would like to be added to the list mentioned, please contact me at my Contact email address.

1. I am pleased to announce that Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at 11:10 a.m. in the Lourdes Chapel at the Basilica of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, the Traditional Latin Mass will be offered by Fr. William Lawrence, F.S.S.P. The Mass offered will be a votive Mass for the Immaculate Conception. We would love to have a large attendance as a show of support and encouragement of Fr. Lawrence.


2. A server is desired for the celebration of the Low Mass on a continual basis. If you know how to serve this Mass and are interested, or know someone likewise who is interested, please let Deo volente know.

3. More members of the “little Vatican” community are always welcome. Invite friends or other interested parties, but avoid fliers or mass emails.

4. This Mass is not an initiative of the celebrant or of the Shrine but by the initiative of students with the generous cooperation of the other parties. The priests who offer Mass for us are not stationed at the Shrine nor have any obligation of apostolate to us. Remember to pray for them and for those at the Shrine who help us.
