  • 8:00 AM - Saint Mary's Church, Washington, DC
  • 8:00 AM - Saint Alphonsus Church, Baltimore Maryland
  • 9:00 AM - Saint Anthony of Padua Mission in King George, VA  (High Mass followed by the blessing of herbs and flowers)
  • 11:00 AM -  Old St. John's Church, Silver Spring, MD
  • Noon - St. John the Beloved, McLean, VA (Low Mass)
  • 12:30 PM - Holy Trinity Church, Gainesville, VA
  • 6:00 PM - St. Lawrence the Martyr,  Alexandria, VA
  • 7:00 PM - St. Raymond of Penyafort in Springfield, VA  (Sung High Mass with musical accompaniment by The Suspicious Cheese Lords)  
  • 7:00 PM - Saint Alphonsus Church, Baltimore Maryland
  • 7:30 PM - Saint Mary's Church, Washington, DC  (see comment below)
  • 7:30 PM - Canons Regular of the New Jerusalem in Charles Town, WV  (Solemn High Mass; this liturgy will begin with a candlelight procession, and will have Gregorian chant and polyphonic motets)
  • 8:00 PM - Saint Francis de Sales, Benedict, Maryland (Missa Cantata)


  1. Old St. Mary's in DC has a 7:30 PM Mass in addition to the 8 AM already listed.

  2. St. Rita is having a 7:30 low mass for the vigil.

    1. I wonder which Mass will be said? The Vigil of the Assumption (Missa 'Vultum Tuum') or the Proper Mass for the Assumption (Missa 'Signum Magnum')?

    2. That I don't know. I'll see if I can find out.

    3. I just got a message from the parish office. It will be the proper Mass for the Assumption
