Visitors ask...More Latin Prayers for the Dead

When I began this blog some time ago, I decided to check the "questions" that visitors used in their search queues for suggestions. A constant item that appeared was "Latin prayers for the dead." I tried to answer that on two occasions. The first is linked here , and the second is linked here . It is still a perennial, however. In a way, I am glad to see that there are those who still seek such Latin prayers as it suggests that many still think about the "four last things" (or Catholic eschatology ) and are praying for those who now rest in Purgatory; these souls are in continual need of our prayers and on a daily basis. I have a copy of "The Raccolta" I purchased years ago. Here are some prayers that are listed from the 1957 version that was reprinted. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ From: The Raccolta .
