The Mountain Echo: EWTN experiences the heart of the Mount

Katie Sechrist has posted a story on Mount Saint Mary's as the site for a series to be aired on EWTN next year. Monsignor Stuart Swetland will be the moderator on the 13-part series of thirty-minute TV shows. Here is a short snippet from her article:

"I pitched the initial idea and I believed it was best to demonstrate the idea of campus with students on the stage, it gives a sense of the atmosphere. This will also enhance Catholic Identity...this can also be used for educational purposes," said Interim Chaplain Msgr. Stuart Swetland.

Msgr. Swetland is in his fourth season of hosting shows on EWTN. A series consists of 13 different shows on a topic. The first was a mini-course Catholic Social Teaching, the second was Catholicism on Campus- Questions College Students Ask from the University of Illinois, and the third was a show on seminarians which is scheduled to air later this year. The fourth season which is filming this week is Ex Corde Ecclesiae.
