Evening Roundup - Second Sunday after Easter, April 6th, 2008
In the roundup for yesterday evening, I indicated that a post by Fr. Zuhlsdorf on What Does the Prayer Really Say? was a "must read." It involved a detailed post concerning the Traditional Latin Mass by a distinguished Italian priest, Fr. Pierro Cantoni, who has an excellent take on Summorum Pontificum.
Today, Fr. Zuhlsdorf has a post on a story by the Catholic Herald of the U.K. In short, as reported by WDTPRS, Cardinal Castrillon Hoyos has "reconfirmed" that priests do not need the permission of their Bishops to use the extraordinary form of the Mass. The full details are here! Must read.
Finally, Fr. Zuhlsdorf has some beautiful photos and commentary on the TLM from Hanceville, AL for those unable to see the Missa Cantata this morning.
