Training in Liturgical Latin by the Canons Regular of the New Jerusalem, Priory of the Annunciation

Dear friends,

I was asked to forward this announcement from the Canons Regular of the New Jerusalem. Classes will take place at the Priory of the Annunciation (old St. James church), 311 S. George Street, Charles Town, WV 25414.

LATIN CLASS

Beginning Saturday, September 10, 2011, following the 9:30 am Mass (approx... 10:30 am) & continuing each Saturday during the academic year with breaks for certain holidays.

Objective:

Read with ease the texts of the Roman Missal, Roman Office, Latin Vulgate, and Latin Fathers

No previous study of Latin necessary

Required Books:

Henle's First Year Latin (purple cover) &
Henle's Latin Grammar (sky blue cover),
both available online at minimal cost
