Breaking: Same-Sex Marriage Bill Passes Maryland House of Delegates (Update)
Delegate Michael Hough (District 3-B) has tweeted that the bill passed the House on a 71-67 vote. The bill now goes to the Maryland Senate where it is expected to pass handily. Governor Martin O'Malley, a Roman Catholic, has vowed to sign the bill into law. The law would make Maryland the 8th state to recognize Same-Sex Marriage.
