  1. I know this is what the FSSP Ordo says but just about every other authority disagrees. There is no commemoration of a 3rd class feast on a Sunday of the 1st Class. Further, if the Advent preface is not used then the preface of the Holy Trinity should be used, just like any other Sunday.

  2. I am sure you see that I copy the Ordo verbatim as printed. If you click any of the links to the Masses provided, they all are 1st Class with the option of the Preface of the Holy Trinity or the Preface of Advent. Furthermore, "In the Sight of Angels" also identifies this as a 1st Class Feast as you can see. The Ordo for 2011 (which just came) gives the Feast on December 4th, 2011 as 1st Class with the option of the two Prefaces for Advent (Advent or Holy Trinity). So, I am sure you are right, and that this may have been a misprint. However, I copy the text from the Ordo verbatim for a frame of reference only.

    Thanks for the comments! D.v.
